Will you keep me upto date with voting events on shares I hold in my BrokerLine account, can I vote by proxy?
Yes. We offer a service called Voting & Information. Subscribing to this service means we will inform you of voting events in shares you hold in your BrokerLine accounts. This includes events such as a vote on a change of company name.
To receive this information you will need to subscribe to our Voting & Information Service. You will to be logged into your account. Go to Maintenance/ Voting & Information Preferences and click on the Subscribe button. Your account will be start receiving notifications around 2 days after you subscribe to the service.
We will then notify you by email of any upcoming events. If this is a voting event you will be given the option to submit a proxy vote.
Please ensure that your email address is up to date. Otherwise you will not receive your Voting & Information emails.
This service is free and is available on our Direct Trader nominee, Self Select Isa and Monthly Portfolio Builder accounts
You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking Maintenance/Voting & Information Preferences and click on the ‘Unsubscribe’ button.
Please note that subscribing to this service does not mean that shares held in a nominee account will appear on the shareholder register in your name.
